Hi Dana,

The colour in the main blog image is Benjamin Moore’s OC-18 Dove Wing. Please note that the colour will appear vastly different on a computer screen when compared to the actually paint chip. It’s always best to get the paint chip, or an actual paint sample, and apply the colour on the wall in the space to get the truest representation of the colour.

Hope this helps!

I assume, of course, the paint at the top is Benjamin Moore, but that color is the perfect color, and the color name is not listed. Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Ok I am now going off course, I think. Looking at Gray owl, Stonington Gray or Baltic Gray. Such a small wall coverage. I need to warm up the space!

Hi Kim,

I might consider 1611 Graytint or 2121-50 Iced Cube Silver if you want to step away from all whites, and try a light blue/gray that has a little more depth! Let us know which one works for you!

Sarah, just curious what light blue/ gray would you recommend IF I wanted to get away from all white? I tested the Paper and it is ok…but not great. Again, thanks for your help.

Thank You so much! Whites can be hard but with your guidance it really helps.

“ Hi Kim,

The CC-20 Decorators White is a great white for cabinetry! I would consider the OC-55 Paper White and the OC-51 Intense White as slightly darker versions of white for the walls. Additionally, you can also continue the CC-20 Decorators White on the ceiling, and choose one of these two light white colours solely for the walls. Both these off-white colours have a touch of gray to help pull your palate together; the OC-55 Paper White being on the cooler side and the OC-51 Intense White on the warmer side, while both maintaining that layered white concept!

Hope this helps! ”

I have refaced my cabinets in Decorator White, I need to now paint my very small walls with another white, along with the ceiling. Very small and light white , grey granite counter tops, white back splash. All help is appreciated! LOVE YOUR INPUT!!!

I needed some help picking out a white for my bedroom. I painted one accent wall in BM Dior Gray, but I’m having difficulty choosing the white for the rest of the room. BM Chantilly Lace and BM Super White seemed too stark. BM Baby’s breath was too blue/matching- I still want some contrast. Maybe simply white? Thank you

Hi Julie, thanks for your inquiry! Glad you liked the post. I agree with your choice, I believe OC-18 Dove Wing would look good as a neutral, yet warm tone off white, as a back drop to mid-century modern teak furniture. OC-17 White Dove would be the ideal trim colour to pair with OC-18 Dove Wing walls, as it’s the lighter shade of Dove Wing. If you feel brave to try something new, a great choice for trim could also be the same colour as your walls, OC-18 Dove Wing but in a slightly shinier finish (Ie. Pearl finish). Hope this helps! Let us know how it turns out!
